Academic Regulations

Admission to the University of Science and Technology is subject to the following conditions:

1. Fulfillment of the general admission requirements approved by the National Council for Higher Education and Scientific Research.
2. Compliance with any additional requirements set by the University or the respective faculty.
3. Passing an entrance test or personal interview, as determined by the faculty.

Study System

The academic program may be conducted according to a semester-based, annual, or hybrid system, depending on the nature of the faculty and the possible standardization among faculties, subject to approval by the Scientific Council.

The Scientific Council approves the academic plan, which includes each semester or period of the academic year.

Degrees and Academic Certificates Awarded

Under these regulations, the University awards the following degrees:

1. Bachelor of Honors
2. General Bachelor’s Degree
3. Diplomas
4. Certificates

The University also awards postgraduate degrees in accordance with the relevant regulations approved for such programs.

Graduation Requirements

To graduate with a degree from the University of Science and Technology, a student must complete the following:

1. Bachelor of Honors: at least five academic years.
2. General Bachelor’s Degree: at least four academic years.
3. Diploma: two to three academic years.
4. Certificate: no more than one academic year.

Each faculty determines its specific graduation requirements, subject to the approval of the Scientific Council.
