Medical Research Center

The center aims to advance scientific research at the University of Science and Technology in the medical fields and various medical sciences, in order to achieve a positive reflection on linking scientific research with society and community service, in order to achieve one of the most important goals of the university: community partnership. The center also aims to prepare qualified cadres for the university, through the master’s and doctoral programs that will be conducted at the center. The target cadres are faculty members at the University of Science and Technology in the faculties of medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, medical laboratories and nursing. This will be through the tight preparation of all curricula and tools that the researcher needs within the center at the University of Science and Technology, or through cooperation with research centers in other universities.

The center also aims to provide direct services to the Sudanese citizen, for example, establishing a foot care section, a genetic analysis section, and a section for diagnosing various cancerous diseases, which will facilitate the diagnosis of many cases, and thus the center will contribute to the localization of treatment inside.
