• Supervising the work of the Scientific Council and its academic committees and following-up and implementing of  the decisions issued by them and the preservation of information and records.

• Supervising the admission and registration of the new students and the students admissions procedures after the first year of converting, bridging and accepting mature students and keeping their records organized in a hard copy and electronically and the extracting of students’ cards who are belonging to the university, and the familiarity with the academic track of the students and motivate the outstanding students, and carrying out the duties of institutional relationship with the Department of the Ministry of Higher Education and the registration of new Sudanese students and foreigners correctly according to the regulations of the Department of Admission to be accepted to the ministry, and the extraction of the university number “functions of the Office of Admission to the University.

• Supervising the digital academic content, computing the interim and final results, and coordinating the results of the graduates with the faculty registrars in the required form and content, both in a hard and digitally form, from the Ministry of Higher Education.

• Extracting carton certificates and testimonies and verifying the validity of diplomas, bachelor’s degrees and postgraduate studies by checking and auditing and then signing them and keeping the relevant records.

• Follow-up policies and decisions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research with regard to the academic aspect.

• Follow up the academic calendar in all faculties.

• Preparing the university manual and participating in scientific publications like magazines and publications.

• Prepare and organize annual graduation ceremonies, strengthen links with university graduates and follow their scientific and professional tracks after graduation.

• Supervision of teaching assistants and faculty members inside and outside the country in cooperation with the College of Graduate Studies and Academic Development.

• Preparation and supervision of the procedures related to the promotion of faculty members.
